2021 Luxury Wishlist

If you follow me on Instagram you may know that I recently wrapped my first No Buy month! For my NoBuyJanuary, I gave up shopping. Gasp. There was absolutely no spending on anything that wasn’t a necessity for my everyday life. It was hard at first, but I made it and it taught me a lot about myself, #1 being that I am an impulse buyer. One of my top goals for 2021 is curbing my spending and buying a home. To reach my goals, I will have to cut my shopping, but there is absolutely no way I’m giving it up completely! To help me stay on track, I created a Luxury Wishlist. With this list, I know exactly the items I truly want and I won’t waste as much money on impulse buying.

Dior Daneseuse Etoile Choker

$690 RETAIL

I have highly sensitive skin, so I gravitate towards dainty jewelry pieces. Hence my deep love for chokers. I’ve been wanting this Dior beauty for years and this is the year I bring it home! This will be my birthday purchase to myself. I’m turning the Big 30 this year and I will be celebrating in Cancun, Mexico! Prayerfully, I will be able to purchase this in store, if I dont find it, I do have another Dior option!

 Dior J’adior Slingback Pump

$950 Retail

These are the perfect chic heel! They’re so sleek and stylish. You can either dress them up for brunch, datenight, or a board meeting (virtual that is, lol). My birthday budget will include either the choker or the shoes. One or the other will keep me warm on the plane back home.

Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Tote Bag in Linen

$1250 Retail

I first saw this tote bag on Jenee Naylor’s arm (Highlowluxxe)My style is a bit moodier than Jenee’s so I’m going for the black tote. It will match my closet and my luggage. I intend to carry this bag on all my airport travels for years to come! This bag and the Dior choker are my top priorities of the year. Together with the Dior pumps, are my top 3! This bag will likely be my final purchase of the year, either Christmas or New Years.

Louis Vuitton Monogram 6 Key Holder

$265 Retail

My budget isn’t quite ready for Louis handbag purchases, but I did pick up this Pouch 26 toiletry bag on my Christmas 2020 travels. I bought a purse organizer and attached a sleek gold chain and bam, instant crossbody!

I love Louis Vuitton monogram, especially on their small leather items. My next purchase will be the key holder to simply spice up my everyday life with a little luxury!

 Fendi Eyeline-Gold

$470 Retail

I love chic sunglasses. I tend to buy higher quality glasses because I find that I don’t lose them like I used to. My favorite brand has served me for years.  I have a nice display of my glasses that I talked about here

I organize them by sections, whimsical, street, and feminine. The top row however is saved for designer frames, and these Fendi Eyelines are chef’s kiss! I love a killer gold sunny and I’m estimating this purchase will come in the fall and I cannot wait!

 Dior Saddle Belt

$660 Retail

I’m not a big on wearing designer clothes. I prefer low-end clothing, and high end accessories. When choosing accessories, I focus on what will accentuate my natural features, like my smile, neck, and my waist. I love the Gucci belt, and I am dying to add this Dior belt to my collection. This purchase will however, be optional for 2021. I love it and I want it, but if I’m not going to break the bank to get it. It’ll be a nice splurge, whenever I’m ready!

Creating a luxury shopping list is a new practice of mine, but I’ve been wanting to try it out for years. I’m hoping that keeping focus on my long term goals, i.e. buying a home, will feel me to resist impulse shopping. I will of course buy things here and there when my closet has a need, but as I shift my shopping practices to cost per wear, I will only by few quality pieces this year.

2020 taught me that life is short, and it should be enjoyed daily with our friends and family, but adding a few chic fashion pieces and travel destinations to the years can never hurt! lol

Thanks for reading!
